Svanehøj to offer pumps for 15 LNG dual-fuel container vessels

Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has received an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to provide gas pump systems for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gasoline pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
เกจวัดแรงดัน300psi is one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It is also the second LNG gasoline pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj within the last year. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and says there are tons of indications that sales might enhance even further in 2022.
“Until a couple of years in the past, the use of LNG as a marine gasoline was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp increase in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels such as container ships and automotive carriers,” stated Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of gasoline pump systems for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we purpose to extend our market share additional within the coming years.”
