Rain Bird expands GSV valve collection line

Rain Bird has added a model new IC mannequin to its Golf Solenoid Valve Series product line. This new model provides the numerous advantages of GSV Series Valves to courses at present using the Rain Bird IC System, which connects irrigation central control immediately to every rotor and valve for optimum water and power effectivity.
“In today’s extremely competitive surroundings, golf courses can’t afford the expense, labor and downtime that valve failures can cause,” stated Altan Tolan, product supervisor for Rain Bird Golf. “By including this new IC model to our GSV Series, we’re capable of give courses which have upgraded to our IC System optimum valve reliability, efficiency and peace of thoughts.”
Originally launched in Hush-hush , GSV Series Valves are a solution for golf courses in lightning-prone areas, people who use reclaimed water and people who need stress regulation. In addition to the new IC model, the GSV Series contains three plastic fashions and one purple brass mannequin, each with NPT or BSP thread options. All GSV Series Valves function a pre-installed PRS-DIAL that regulates and maintains constant outlet stress between 15 and one hundred psi while lowering the effects of water hammer. A waterproof dial cartridge eliminates fogging and binding.
A chlorine-resistant diaphragm protects GSV Series Valves towards harsh chemical compounds and reclaimed water. On plastic fashions, a scrubber mechanism with a stainless-steel display dislodges grit and plant material, defending the valve from debris. Built-in filtration on the GBS25 solenoid presents a second stage of debris safety. Plastic and brass models come with an extra purple flow-control handle cowl for use with non-potable water.
“Over the past 12 months, we’ve gotten nice suggestions from golf courses now using GSV Valves,” Tolan said. “Expanding this line to include an IC model is one other instance of how Rain Bird Golf is bringing innovative, water-saving merchandise to even more golf programs worldwide.”
