The KSB pumps will equip numerous pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” project. They will be used to stop future flooding in the course of the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
The city of Pilar is positioned 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.
Each of the Amacan submersible motor pumps weighs six tonnes and is pushed by a 370 kW, 380 volt motor. The most flow fee of every axial circulate pump set is about 18 000 cubic metres per hour.
The pump sets are anticipated to be delivered by the end of this yr.
